About the Role
The HCM Project Manager at BDO IT
Consulting is responsible for leading end-to-end Human Capital Management
(HCM) implementation projects for clients. This role ensures successful project
delivery within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining high levels of
customer satisfaction. The HCM Project Manager works closely with clients,
consultants, and cross-functional teams to manage project activities, mitigate
risks, and drive successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple HCM implementation projects simultaneously,
ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource
allocations, and status reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout
the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, status reviews, and
steering committee sessions.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change
requests.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project
execution and milestone achievement.
- Support requirements gathering, business process reviews,
testing activities, and solution deployment.
- Guide clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT),
organizational readiness, and go-live activities.
- Ensure a smooth transition to support teams following project
completion.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, project
management best practices, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- PMI/PMP certification is an advantage.
- 3–7 years of project management experience, preferably in HCM,
HRIS, ERP, or enterprise software implementations.
- Experience managing SaaS or cloud-based software implementation
projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with HCM solutions such as Workday, SAP
SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, or similar platforms is
preferred.
- Understand the Payroll and Workforce Management Modules
- Experience in business process analysis, stakeholder
management, and change management is an asset.
