Job Description
Main Purpose of the Position
To welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner, manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements, and accurately process guest bills and payments while ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Plans and organizes work, based on Day Events Report.
- Takes cash from the different outlets and exchange with the Internal Controller for denominations.
- Makes store requisition for all stationery items needed.
- Handles all cash and credit card payment from clients.
- Fills in float book and makes entries on the system.
- Issues bills to be signed and settled by clients, based on the “Bon de Commande” received from Chef de Rang
- Verifies whether clients’ details (Name & Room Number) on bills are correct and close bills on the system.
- Hands all bills, “Bon de Commande”, and cash collected to the Front Office Assistant.
- Prepares Cash Book Report at the end of the month and submits to the Financial Controller.
