Job Description
As Junior Risk Analyst, you will support the
operationalisation of the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, with a
primary focus on risk monitoring, data capture, and automation of risk
processes.
The role is
designed to bridge risk governance requirements (policies, frameworks,
reporting expectations) with practical implementation through digital tools such
as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, to ensure that risk processes are
embedded, efficient, and scalable.
Main responsibilities
1.
Risk
Monitoring & Reporting
a.
Support the
maintenance of risk registers across the bank
b.
Track and
monitor key risk indicators, incidents, action plans, and control effectiveness
c.
Assist in
preparing risk dashboards and periodic reports
d.
Ensure timely
follow-up on risk events, issues, and remediation actions
e.
Support the
automation of reports using Microsoft Power BI and other automation tools.
2.
Automation
& Digital Enablement
a.
Support the
build and enhancement of risk workflows using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint,
Power Apps and Power Automate among others.
b.
Assist in
translating risk processes into system logic (fields, workflows, approval
layers)
c.
Perform UAT
testing, issue logging, and validation of system outputs
d.
Maintain data
integrity and consistency across automated tools
e.
Support
administration of Risk automated tools
3.
Data &
Analytics Support
a.
Assist and
support Technology team to successfully deliver Risk Analytics initiatives
b.
Support
preparation of heatmaps, summaries, and risk insights
c. Ensure completeness and quality of data used for
internal and external reporting
Technical and
Soft Competencies/Skills, Knowledge

Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills with attention to detail.

Basic understanding of risk management
concepts
·
Passionate and motivated, with a
growth mindset and customer-focused approach.
·
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools
especially Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate PowerPoint, SharePoint,
and Teams.
·
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python
is an advantage.

Experience & Qualifications
·
A degree in
Finance, banking, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information
Systems, Computer Science, Actuarial or a related field.
·
0 - 2 years’
working experience (internship or exposure to banking/risk will be an
advantage)
