Payments & Reconciliation Officer - iGaming Industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile daily transactions across multiple systems, payment gateways, wallets, and MNOs.
  • Monitor payment inflows and outflows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely settlement of funds.
  • Liaise with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), payment service providers, and aggregators to resolve discrepancies and settlement issues.
  • Analyse transaction data to identify anomalies, fraud risks, delays, and system inconsistencies.
  • Produce forecasts and projections for transaction volumes, cashflow, and settlement performance.
  • Manage and optimise cashflow across multiple platforms and jurisdictions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation and performance reports for senior management and the CFO.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Product, and Risk teams to improve payment flows, system stability, and reliability.
  • Support the implementation and testing of new payment methods, wallets, and integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improve reconciliation processes, automation, and reporting efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of digital payments, wallets, and iGaming payment ecosystems.
  • Proven experience working with MNO billing, aggregators, PSPs, and multi-system reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large transaction volumes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with forecasting, trend analysis, and anomaly detection.
  • Solid knowledge of cashflow management and settlement cycles.
  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, particularly when working with Technology teams and Finance/CFO leadership.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with SQL, BI tools, or automation is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, or other high-transaction digital environments.
  • Familiarity with APIs, reconciliation tools, and payment monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention frameworks and risk control processes.
