Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing the frontend screens for the eCommerce module.
  • Creating user-friendly interfaces for product listing, product search, product details, cart, checkout, order history, and customer account pages.
  • Working closely with backend developers to integrate APIs for products, categories, prices, promotions, stock availability, cart, orders, and customer information.
  • Ensuring that the eCommerce experience works properly on mobile devices
  • Translating business requirements and design mockups into clean, responsive, and functional frontend pages.
  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers to ensure a smooth and attractive customer journey.
  • Ensuring good performance so that pages load quickly and provide a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Testing frontend features and fixing bugs before release.
  • Working with the mobile app team to ensure the eCommerce frontend is properly integrated inside the app.
  • Supporting future enhancements such as personalized offers, product recommendations, loyalty integration, digital receipts, and retail media banners.

 

Job requisites:

  • Experience in frontend web or mobile web application development.
  • Good knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Experience developing eCommerce-related screens such as product catalogues, cart, checkout, and order tracking.
  • Ability to integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
  • Understanding of mobile-first design principles.
  • Ability to work with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with backend developers, mobile developers, designers, and business teams.
  • Basic understanding of security, user session handling, and data privacy will be an advantage.
