We are recruiting a Sommelier Conseil Shop Sales Representative/Assistant Shop Manager for our shop Le Connoisseur based at Rodrigues Island.

Responsible to handle the operations and sales of the shop.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice to customers regarding the choice of wine, spirits and other products in the shop.
• Plan and implement advertising and promotional strategy and activities.
• Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies
• Monitor and control the stock.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar field.
• Diploma in Wine & Spirit course or equivalent will be preferred
• Must be fluent in French and English.
• Normal business working days and hours will be from Monday to Friday 08h00 to 16h00 and Saturdays from 08h00 to 12h30.

• Knowledge of wine and spirits would be advantageous
• Accurate with numbers
• Conscientious and extroverted personality
• Available to start as soon as possible.
• Holder of a valid certificate of character
