Job Description
Overview of the Role:
The Coffee Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the coffee outlet within the leisure activity environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high product quality, strong team performance, storage and commercial efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth service.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Ensure product quality, presentation, and consistency across all beverages and food items.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly.
- Train, schedule, and supervise service staff.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and on-the-job training.
- Ensure staff grooming, punctuality, and adherence to service standards.
- Ensure proper storage of products (LIFO) to avoid expiry of products.
- Control costs, manage inventory, and minimise waste.
- Support revenue growth through upselling, promotions, and seasonal offering.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised outlet at all times.
Candidate's Profile:
- Proven experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Good knowledge of food & beverage operations
- Ability to manage stock, ordering, and cost control
