Job Description
Nabridas Limited is looking for a dynamic and motivated Procurement Officer to join its team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting and optimizing procurement, logistics, stock control, and operational activities while ensuring cost-effective purchasing and efficient supplier management.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities in line with company policies and procedures
- Source suppliers and negotiate the best prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and contractors
- Coordinate logistics operations and ensure timely delivery of materials to sites
- Monitor stock operations and ensure accurate record keeping
- Liaise with forwarding agents for shipment and customs clearance procedures
- Prepare procurement, logistics, and stock reports for management review
- Assist in tender preparation, quotations, purchase orders, and cost reports
- Reconcile supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and ensure value for money procurement
- Coordinate with Heads of Department to ensure operational requirements are met
- Ensure proper administrative, operational, and internal control procedures are maintained
- Perform any other cognate duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain and Procurement or equivalent qualification
- Experience in procurement and supply chain operations
- Experience in the manufacturing sector will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Pastel ERP Software
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, vendors, market conditions, and cost control
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a dynamic environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional appearance and high level of integrity
- Holder of a valid car and motorcycle driving licence
