Job Description

1. POSITION PURPOSE 

The Safari Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests within the park while delivering an engaging and informative experience. 

The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, excellent driving skills, and a customer-oriented approach to ensure a smooth and enjoyable safari experience. 

The Safari Driver shall also ensure proper handling and care of Company vehicles at all times. 

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

2.1 Driving Operations & Safety 

  • Operate safari vehicles in a safe, responsible, and controlled manner at all times  

  • Ensure compliance with all road safety and park-specific driving regulations  

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections  

  • Ensure passengers are seated safely and adhere to safety instructions  

  • Immediately report any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions  


2.2 Customer Experience & Guiding 

  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and engaging experience to all guests  

  • Deliver basic information about the park, activities, and points of interest  

  • Assist guests during boarding and disembarking  

  • Ensure comfort and safety of passengers throughout the journey  


2.3 Vehicle Care & Maintenance 

  • Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicle  

  • Report mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance needs promptly  

  • Ensure proper use and storage of vehicles in accordance with company procedures  

  • Monitor fuel usage and report irregularities  


2.4 Operational Coordination 

  • Coordinate with Operations and Dispatch for scheduling and routes  

  • Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of guests  

  • Adapt to operational requirements and peak period demands
