Key responsibilities:

Oversee all system hardware and equipment, including servers, end-user workstations, printers, UPSs and other peripherals.

Perform and oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software and peripherals.

Implement and upgrade of server room security features, such as access control and environmental alarms.

Update and maintain ITSM inventory (IT Assets).

Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes and review system and application logs.

Comply with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures.

Ensure excellent service by providing effective telephonic or on-site technical support.

Comply with the Data Protection Act 2017.

 

Job requirements:

Diploma in Information Technology or any other relevant qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Certification such as A+ or N+ will be an advantage

Good understanding of the local FMCG sector or Retail business can be an advantage

Holder of a valid driving licence

Positive proactive team player with a dynamic personality 

Effective communication, organizational and time management skills

Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail and results-oriented

Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours
