Job Description

Our client is looking for a Supervisor Pension Administrator

 

Job Purpose:

The Supervisor Pension Administrator will be responsible to provide administration and client services to guarantee that the operations of the Pensions department are performed efficiently. Other key assignments will be in terms of Group Life business and reinsurance accounts management for the Life Insurance department.

 

Responsibiliites:

Financial

·       Timely follow up on pensions contributions.

·       Make sure that contributions are invested within prescribed deadlines.

·       Prepare reinsurance accounts for Group and Individual Life businesses.

·       Provide group life quotes to new businesses and manage the group life portfolio.

·       Manage the pension contributions and investment process.

Customer

·       Ascertain that all client pensions requests are met and treated in a comprehensive way.

·       Manage client relationship through meetings and follow-ups.

·       Provide regular feedback to management on related matters.

·       Deal with clients and brokers regarding new group businesses.

·       Act as liaison with Trustees and provide regular updates to them.

 

Processes

·       Plan and maintain a proper contribution schedule.

·       Regular interactions with clients to make sure that all contributions are up to date.

·       Consistently make sure that pension figures are aligned with the fund accounts.

·       Handling of all group life claims.

·       Reinsurance claims processing.

·       Implement a regulatory framework of deliverables with the FSC or any related stakeholder.

 

People

·       Clearly be able to communicate important pension-related figures to members and other stakeholders.

·       Advise stakeholders (trustees and employers) regarding any important change in legislation.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·       Degree holder with a Mathematics/ Actuarial/ Finance/ Management background

·       2-3 years’ experience in pension administration

 

Behavioural competencies:

·       Fully conversant in MS Office

·       Good mathematical/ analytical skills

·       Good written and interpersonal skills

·       Reliable and willing to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
