Job Description
Our sister Company, Sunibel Corporate Services Ltd is looking for a Senior Compliance
Administrator and Deputy MLRO to join its Compliance team.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the approved Deputy MLRO in accordance with FSC requirements, ensuring
the overall effectiveness of the compliance framework.
·
Partner with the MLRO/CO in implementing and overseeing internal controls,
including verification of files and random checks.
·
Monitor day-to-day compliance of the Company’s clients and internal
operations.
·
Review and update internal policies and procedures to maintain alignment
with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
·
Assist in analysing and assessing compliance risks and designing
appropriate mitigation strategies.
·
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, regulatory filings,
and internal investigations.
·
Conduct periodic client file reviews and remediate record-keeping as
necessary.
·
Compile and analyse internal and external data for compliance audits.
·
Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure adherence to internal
processes and controls.
·
Oversee AML systems and controls, supporting the drafting and updating of
AML policies and procedures.
·
Design, implement, and deliver compliance training programs for staff and
clients.
·
Assist in preparing regulatory submissions, reports, and responses to
inquiries or inspections.
·
Liaise with regulatory bodies and external advisors as required.
·
Provide guidance on regulatory requirements, AML procedures, and
compliance best practices.
·
Stay up-to-date with emerging regulations, industry trends, and changes
in compliance frameworks.
·
Support team development through coaching and capability building.
·
Identify and escalate unusual or suspicious transactions for
investigation by the MLRO.
·
Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Reporting Line or
Board of Directors.
What We’re Looking For:
· At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
· Degree in Law, Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
· Professional qualification in Compliance, Law, or Risk Management (e.g.,
ICA, ACAMS, ACAMS-FCI) is an advantage.
·
Proven experience in compliance administration and AML operations,
preferably in the financial services sector.
·
Strong knowledge of AML, CFT, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
·
Understanding of complex corporate structures and Mauritian financial,
securities, and taxation laws.
·
Proficiency in compliance monitoring systems and risk management tools.
·
Experience with regulatory reporting, investigations, and audits.
·
Strong analytical, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
·
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
·
Proactive, agile, and resilient mindset.
·
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
influence at all levels.
