Job Description
The Accounts Officer
will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial
records, verifying all financial documents and transactions, ensuring
compliance with accounting requirements and principles, and providing necessary
support to the finance team at KFC Mauritius. This role will also require the
ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various
departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of
monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform Sales Reconciliation
with Banking.
- Supervise head-office purchase
process up to final payment to supplier.
- Manage
the CAPEX process via the e-CAPEX system, from initiation to asset
capitalisation.
- Perform rental
settlements in accordance with lease agreements.
- Monitor supplier settlements,
ensuring timely payments and accurate ageing reports,
and resolve any issues related to supplier accounts.
- Reconcile current accounts of
subsidiaries.
- Reconcile Inter-Company
transactions and balances within Eclosia Group.
- Assist the Financial Controller in the
preparation of the annual budget & forecast.
- Provide support and required documentation
to external and internal auditors.
Requirements
- Partly Qualified ACCA
Level 2
- A degree in accounting,
finance, or related field is an added advantage
- 2 years of experience
in an accounting or finance position
Competencies
- Proficient in using accounting
software (AX/D365)
- Strong organizational and time
management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and
function effectively in a team environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft
Office applications, particularly Excel
- Proficiency in financial
analysis, reporting, and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and
organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently
and collaboratively.
