Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages all stages of recruitment, including advertising, scheduling, conducting interviews of candidates with departmental/outlet managers, preparing offer documentation, checking references and  ensuring proper job orientation for grass roots.
  • Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Contributes to the development of a continuous learning culture.
  • Conducts training sessions for employees as and when directed.
  • Is responsible of ensuring that the assigned outlet administration and management teams abide to all scheduling, attendance and payroll procedures.
  • Works on preparation of monthly payroll and ensures that salaries and benefits are regularly reviewed and are in line with relevant agreements, remuneration orders…
  • Reports non-conformities in payroll reports to the Human Capital Operations Manager.
  • Compiles data for monthly Human Capital dashboard (headcount, overtime, absenteeism, productivity, salaries…) for respective outlets.
  • Acts as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions in assigned outlets.
  • Provides support through assistance or guidance to employees and Management on required Human Capital issues as per specific needs of assigned outlets.
  • Prepares files and documentation for meetings at Labour Office, Industrial Court and/or Disciplinary Committees and attends same if requested to do so.
  • Ensures that employees receive appropriate information in due time.
  • Analyzes employees’ engagement survey results for specific outlets under his/her supervision, proposes an action plan to address issues and ensure implementation of action plan with Management team.
  • Participates in organization of events, social & sports activities, service award programs,...
  • Assists in maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Organizes and runs exit interviews with all leavers to help managers to understand potential areas of improvement.

 

 

Other Requisites:

  • Diploma in Human Resources Management or any other equivalent qualifications
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar position
  • Holder of a valid driving license
  • Good knowledge of local labour legislations
  • Conversant with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively deal with a variety of audience, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail and results-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in the retail sector will constitute an advantage
