Job Summary
A commis
sommelier will be able to follow the one and only standard in impeccably
dressed. Prepare the material for the
service. (Wipe glasses, put out Wine stands, ventilate the glasses on the
tables.) During the service: they should be able to advise and provide good
service and pleasant ( be smiling, courteous and the listening) they must also
inform the head sommelier of any problems during the service. They must look
for opportunities for up-selling. After the service: clean and store the
equipment, make sure everything is in
its place and safety.
