Job Description

Primary Purpose

To support the maintenance department by coordinating administrative activities, maintaining accurate records of maintenance tasks, and ensuring timely communication and planning between technicians, suppliers, and management to facilitate efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities across all sites
  • Ensure proper tracking and closure of maintenance tickets
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Liaise effectively with the Purchasing Department for materials procurement
  • Follow up on orders and deliveries
  • Produce structured weekly operational reports

Person Specifications

  • Minimum Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a admin and maintenance role.
  • Training or certification in electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • A valid Mauritian driver’s licence is an advantage.
