Job Description
The United Basalt Products Ltd is looking for a dynamic, hands-on, and
results-driven professional to join its production team as Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Production &
Operational Management
- Lead daily production activities to
achieve quality, efficiency, and delivery targets.
- Monitor production KPIs, raw materials
availability and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, ISO standards, and environmental requirements.
Repairs &
Maintenance
- Ensure effective implementation of
preventive maintenance plans.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance
activities with the Engineering team.
- Monitor equipment downtime and ensure proper management of spare parts.
Human Resource
Management
- Lead, coach, and develop employees while
promoting UBP core values.
- Ensure proper communication across the
site and promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous
improvement.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and engagement to enhance productivity.
Sales & Customer Service
- Supervise sales office operations,
invoicing, and trip allocation.
- Address customer complaints and maintain
high service standards.
- Ensure customer-related processes comply with quality standards.
Financial &
Administrative Management
- Prepare and monitor CAPEX and OPEX
budgets.
- Ensure cost control and implementation of
cost saving initiatives.
- Monitor resource utilization and operational expenses.
Health, Safety,
Environment & Quality
- Ensure compliance with Health &
Safety, environmental, and ISO requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure
proper use of PPE’s.
- Monitor quality standards, and implement
corrective actions.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in production management,
Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the
construction sector or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Sound knowledge of production operations,
maintenance, budgeting, ISO standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership, organizational and
decision-making skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical
skills, and disciplined execution approach.
- Excellent communication and management
skills.
