As we continue to expand our team, we are looking for an Admin & ESG Coordinator for our office in Mauritius, based in Ebene.

Job Overview

As the embodiment of our organization's face and voice, you play a crucial role in managing the Kalexius switchboard for both incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring seamless communication. Your primary mission is dual fold: to curate a warm and professional atmosphere while providing unparalleled support in administrative and sustainability duties. Serving as the initial point of contact, you hold a pivotal position in shaping a positive and lasting impression that seamlessly reflects our organization's unwavering dedication to integrity and excellence.

Concurrently, your commitment to coordinating ESG activities underscores our pledge to evolve into a more sustainable and socially responsible entity. Through your dedication, you contribute significantly to our journey towards fostering positive environmental, social, and governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1/ Frontline Professionalism – (10%)

  • Extend a warm and professional welcome to clients, visitors, and colleagues, reflecting Kalexius's commitment to excellence.
  • Cultivate a well-organized and inviting reception area that mirrors the organization's dedication to professionalism.
  • Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing calls on the switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals with professionalism and courtesy.

2/ Operational Efficiency – (45%)

  • Perform general office duties, including but not limited to mail handling, data entry, and providing support to team members as needed.
  • Monitor office inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available for daily operations, whilst reducing waste.
  • Execute administrative tasks assigned with precision and attention to detail, whilst following the admin ticketing system process in place.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, ensuring a positive experience for participants.
  • Coordinate staff transport services, ensuring timely and reliable transportation for employees.
  • Assist with any other administrative tasks as may be assigned by the manager.

3/ Sustainability Coordination – (45%)

  • Assist with coordinating and executing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities in line with the company's sustainability strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationship and collaboration with external organizations, including associations, foundations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
  • Rigorously track sustainability metrics to facilitate accurate reporting in adherence to organizational goals. This is achieved by collaborating with relevant teams to gather necessary information for reporting.
  • Provide support for both internal and external communications related to sustainability efforts.

Profile:

  • HSC or Diploma in Administration.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and French. Any other language will be considered an asset.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience.
  • Approachable and professional demeanour, ensuring a positive atmosphere.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and proactive in navigating dynamic work environments.

Work-Life Balance
