Technician – Industrial Operations

Bourbon Vanilla Ltd is seeking a skilled, hands-on, and proactive Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous performance of our vanilla processing equipment and industrial installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all production machineries and factory equipments
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults and carry out repairs
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and industrial control systems
• Monitor equipment performance and minimise production downtime
• Assist with installation, adjustment, calibration, and commissioning of all machineries
• Conduct routine inspection of electrical panels, sensors, and mechanical components
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety, hygiene, and operational procedures
• Maintain maintenance records and report technical interventions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the factory
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management in line with operational requirements

Candidate Profile

• NC Level, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Maintenance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Good knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, pneumatic systems, and industrial electrical installations
• Ability to read and understand basic technical or electrical diagrams would be an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and within a production team
• Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
