Site Supervisor (Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting)

Job Profile

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Site Supervisor (Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting) to oversee technicians and subcontractors for fire detection, fire alarm installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance projects.

Role & responsibilities

  • Read and interpret fire alarm wiring diagrams, schematics and layouts as applicable.
  • Estimate materials, equipment and personnel required for fire alarm installation and maintenance projects.
  • Supervise technicians and subcontractors for fire alarm installation and maintenance works to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain stock inventory of spares.
  • Maintain constant verbal and written communication with the Technical Team and the customers.
  • Ensure that all related Preventive Maintenance Contract information is updated on ERP, including equipment database and servicing carried out on fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure that customers' requests are being handled and interventions being attended to.
  • Ensure all fire alarm installations, testing, servicing, and repairs are carried out as per approved specifications and manufacturers’ requirements.
  • Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm and fire detection systems, including design, installation, testing, commissioning, repair and maintenance.
  • Good understanding of standards (NFPA, BS, EN or local codes).
  • Good written and verbal communication in both French and English.
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence for private car.
