Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive E-Commerce Operations Executive to support and optimize the daily operations of our e-commerce platform.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing product catalogue accuracy, online merchandising, campaign execution, website quality control, and customer experience optimization across our Magento-based e-commerce platform.

This role requires a combination of e-commerce operations, technical coordination, analytical thinking, and commercial awareness to support the continued growth of our online business.


Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Catalogue Management

  • Manage and maintain product catalogue, categories, pricing, specifications, attributes, and product content on the ecommerce platform
  • Ensure all product information, descriptions, technical specifications, and visuals are accurate, complete, and optimized
  • Coordinate product launches, new arrivals, stock updates, and promotional offers across the website
  • Maintain data consistency between ecommerce platform, ERP, inventory systems, and internal databases
  • Conduct regular catalogue audits and quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies

Online Merchandising & Campaign Execution

  • Create, schedule, test, and publish banners, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and ecommerce offers
  • Ensure all campaigns and promotions are correctly displayed and functioning across desktop and mobile devices
  • Optimize product visibility, category merchandising, cross-selling, upselling, and homepage placements
  • Support major commercial events, seasonal campaigns, flash sales, and product launches

E-Commerce Operations & Website Management

  • Monitor website performance and identify issues impacting customer experience or conversion
  • Liaise with developers, IT teams, and external agencies to resolve technical issues and implement platform improvements
  • Raise and follow up on support tickets until resolution
  • Conduct regular testing of the website, checkout process, payment methods, promotions, and customer journey
  • Ensure website content and functionalities remain updated and aligned with business objectives

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor ecommerce KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, abandoned carts, product performance, and sales performance
  • Provide recommendations to improve customer experience, online conversion, and operational efficiency
  • Support SEO best practices including metadata, URLs, product structure, and content optimization
  • Use AI-powered tools and digital solutions to improve productivity, content management, and ecommerce operations

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, IT, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Buying teams
  • Coordinate with warehouse and buying teams regarding stock availability, product issues, and fulfilment concerns
  • Provide support on ecommerce projects, new feature implementations, and platform enhancements

Education & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in IT, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, Business Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, preferably Magento
  • Understanding of e-commerce operations and online retail workflows
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, product management systems, and digital merchandising
  • Basic understanding of SEO and ecommerce analytics tools will be an advantage
  • Experience in retail, consumer electronics, or omnichannel business will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of AI tools and digital productivity platforms will be considered an asset


Technical Skills

  • Magento administration experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with ecommerce reporting and analytics tools
  • Understanding of online payment flows, ecommerce promotions, and customer journey processes
  • Basic HTML knowledge will be an advantage
