Job Description

S&W Synergy is recruiting a receptionist who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, members, and staff. He/She will serve as the first point of contact, handling inquiries, bookings, payments, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

v  Greet and assist members, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.

v  Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding memberships, facilities, and events.

v  Register new members and process membership renewals.

v  Provide information about the services, programs, and facilities of Synergy and Moka Rangers.

v  Provide information about sports programs, classes, and schedules.

v  Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations.

v  Maintain accurate records of members and visitors.

v  Manage payments and financial transactions for Synergy and Moka Rangers.

-        Collect payments for memberships, facility rentals, and classes.

-        Issue receipts and maintain financial records.

-        Handle cash and card transactions securely.

v  Facilitate the sale of both consumable and non-consumable products.

v  Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk and reception area.

v  Assist with data entry, filing, and reports related to attendance and memberships.

v  Coordinate with trainers, coaches, and management for scheduling and operational updates.

v  Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the daily smooth operation of the center.

v  Ensure visitors follow safety protocols and guidelines.

v  Monitor access to the centre and ensure only authorized individuals enter.

v  Respond to emergency situations and report incidents to management.

v  Assist in organizing sports events and promotional activities.

v  Report maintenance issues or facility concerns to the appropriate department.

v  Support marketing and communication efforts by distributing promotional materials.

Ability to work on sundays and public holidays on a roaster basis


Qualifications, Skills and Experiences:

v  HSC / Bac / International Baccalaureat.

v  A License in hospitality will be an advantage.

v  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

v  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

v  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

v  Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

v  Basic knowledge of membership management software or the ability to learn quickly.

v  Positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.

v  Passion for fitness and well-being.
