responsibilities
1. Perform supplier selection for engineering services in the telecom industry
2. Perform country and competition benchmarking.
3. Identification and fostering relationship with our suppliers and vendors.
4. Procurement Contracts drafting and submission
5. Responsible for supplier resource management
6. Ability to interpret a Bill of Quantity and provide professional feedback
7. Maintain a sound database of engineering suppliers related to
telecommunication industry
8. Perform detailed cost analysis with clear
logic
9. Design, plan and implement supplier
selection and purchasing strategies
10. Negotiate for better conditions (price, lead time + quality)
11. Search and source potential suppliers and vendors
Requirements and qualification:
1. Bachelor's degree business administration or business management.
2. Previous working experience in Procurement Management in the ICT industry
3. Hands-on experience in budgeting and purchasing management
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
5. Outstanding negotiation skills
6. Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset
7. Outstanding organizational and time management skills
8. Excellent customer service skills
9. Should be fluent in English (written and oral)
10.Ability to travel overseas to support ongoing projects
11.Flexible to work odd hours including
weekends
12. Shall be ready to join within 1 month from selection date
13. Possess
a sound technical knowledge in the telecom industry and various technologies
involved
14. Adhere to laws, rules and regulations
