Job Description

Support the communication team in strategic planning, development, and execution of public and press relations, communications, events, brand activation and content production. This role aims to enhance the hotel group's brand awareness, image, reputation, and relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
1. Public Relations:
- Planning and implementing PR campaigns and strategies together with the dedicated PR agencies/Reps.
- Support the management and coordination of press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
- Maintain and update media contact lists.
- Coordinate and follow-up on media visits, press trips, and other PR activities, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with media, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor media coverage, compile reports, and provide insights on media trends.
- Organize and assist in press events, launches, etc.
2. Brand Content :
- Support and ensure brand consistency across communication materials, in line with the brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity.
- Responsible for communication materials like brochures, newsletters, presentations, and press kits.
- Coordinate and support the production of photo and video shoots.
- Proofread and edit content for consistency and accuracy.
3. Communications:
- Draft internal communications when required.
- Handle copy writing and translations requests when required or liaise with content writer and/or translators.
- Assist in the production of the monthly Communication report.
4. Research & Analysis:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor strategies, and relevant industry news.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide insights and ideas to enhance communication strategies.
5. Corporate Events Management:
- Coordinate and support event execution, ensuring alignment with brand image.
- Liaise with suppliers, journalists, partners, and internal teams for smooth event operations.
- Post-event evaluations to measure success and suggest improvements.
6. Advertising and Media Planning:
- Assist with budget planning and follow-up.
- Coordinate the execution and follow-up of media campaigns in line with approved media plans.
- Monitor joint advertising and trade exchanges to guarantee market coverage.
7. Administrative Support:
- Schedule and prepare meetings and agendas, ensuring follow-ups.
- Organize departmental files, records, and resources.
- Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and other related administrative tasks.
8. Global Coordination:
- Collaborate with PR offices worldwide for consistent branding and communication.
- Handle media requests and enquiries promptly.
- Coordinate press trips with PR entities and tourism offices, and host journalists as required.
Qualification and Criteria:
- Diploma in Marketing/Communication
- Good French / English (oral & written)
- Driving license
- 5-10 years of experience
- Attention to details - precision
