Job Description

The Analyst Merchant Sales, Payments supports the Team Leader in growing the merchant portfolio by identifying and onboarding new merchants. The role contributes to achieving sales and budget targets, supports business development and cross‑selling opportunities, and ensures a consistent, high‑quality experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibility
  • Promote and present CIM payment solutions and related products to prospective merchants, based on their business needs.
  • Support the Team Leader in implementing sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with new merchants to support sustainable growth.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cross‑selling initiatives with merchants and partners.
  • Conduct basic profit and loss simulations to determine appropriate merchant commission structures.
  • Engage merchants through new channels and go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Verify merchant documentation and ensure onboarding requirements are met in line with KYC and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support a positive team environment.
  • Carry out additional tasks as required to support team and business needs.
Profile
  • A Degree in Banking, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–4 years of experience in merchant acquiring, sales, or business development
  • Experience in sales within the banking or fintech sector is an advantage
  •  Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage a sales pipeline
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of payments and lending products
  • Knowledge of KYC, AML, compliance requirements, and card association standards
