On September 27 2016, BOC (Mauritius) Limited officially opened for business, becoming the first Chinese-funded bank in Mauritius. BOC (Mauritius) Limited mainly engages in corporate financial business while branching out businesses in deposits, loans, remittances, international settlement, trade financing, financial market and financial institutions. It actively carries out cross-border RMB business so as to provide all-round and quality financial services to enterprises and multinational corporations in China, Mauritius and Africa, and is striving to establish itself as a strategic platform for BOC’s African business.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

1. Conduct daily trading of foreign exchange, money market, bonds, interest rate and derivative products in accordance with bank risk limits and trading authority.

严格按照银行风险限额及交易权限，开展外汇、货币市场、债券、利率及衍生品品种日常交易。

 

2. Track real-time changes in global and domestic capital markets, macroeconomics, monetary policies and market liquidity, timely capture trading opportunities.

实时跟踪国内外资本市场、宏观经济、货币政策及市场流动性变化，及时捕捉交易机会。

 

3. Maintain regular communication and business relations with domestic and foreign counterparties and institutional clients.

维护与境内外交易对手及机构客户的日常沟通与业务合作关系。

 

4. Strictly implement internal compliance rules, risk management regulations and trading operating procedures to ensure standardized trading operations and prevent compliance and operational risks.

严格遵守银行内控合规、风险管理规定及交易操作流程，确保交易合规规范，防范合规及操作风险。

 

5. Responsible for position management, market valuation, profit and loss monitoring, and control market risk within the authorized limit.

负责持仓管理、市值估值及盈亏监控，在授权额度内管控市场风险。

 

6. Prepare daily trading reports, market analysis summaries and investment strategy reports, provide professional suggestions for asset allocation and market investment to the bank.

撰写每日交易台账、市场分析总结及投资策略报告，为资产配置及市场投资提供专业建议。

 

7. Assist in optimizing trading business processes, enriching trading product lines and participating in market business innovation and project promotion.

协助优化交易业务流程、丰富交易产品线，参与市场业务创新及项目推进。

 

Job Requirement

(1) University graduate or above

(2) Minimum 3 years relevant commercial banking trader experiences (Understand Banking Book and Trading Book well) .

(3) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

(4) Strong sense of responsibility.

(5) Be fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese ability is considered an added asset so as to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers.
