Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, operate, and maintain chillers and associated systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or replacement of components
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective works to minimize system downtime
- Install chillers and related HVAC systems in accordance with technical standards and safety regulations
- Monitor and adjust system temperatures, pressures, and refrigerant levels for efficient operation
- Use testing and commissioning instruments
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC systems
- Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records
- Provide recommendations on energy efficiency improvements and system optimization
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- 5-10 years of experience in chiller operations and maintenance
- Experience with Chiller brands such as Trane, York and Daikin
Other Requisites:
- Expert troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations
