Key Responsibilities

Technical Duties

• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical panels, PLC systems, and instrumentation equipment.
• Participate in wiring, cable laying, and termination works.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

Project Support

• Provide on-site support during project execution.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.
• Ensure tasks are completed within deadlines and according to specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors on project requirements.

Health & Safety

• Comply with all safety procedures and company policies.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Learning & Development (Trainee Aspect)

• Participate actively in on-the-job training programs.
• Develop technical competencies in electrical systems.
• Stay updated with industry standards and technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate/ Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior internship or technical experience will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work on sites across Mauritius.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
