Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Welcomes and greets guests promptly and politely as per Hotel standards and procedures;
  • Assists in organising special events such as weddings, dinners, cocktails as per guest demand;
  • Maintains a close liaison with travel agencies regarding information of clients’ needs, special requests and VIP treatment;
  • Provides all necessary information and assistance as instructed by the Head of Department to all clients during their stay at the hotel;
  • Converses with guests to obtain feedback on quality of services and suggestions, if any for improvement and relays this information as per Hotel policy.
Candidate Profile:
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent;
  • Previous professional experience in related function will be an advantage;
  • Good communication and organisational skills;
  • Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities;
  • Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
  • Knowledge of a third language will be a definite advantage.
