If you are a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and achieving ambitious targets, this role offers the chance to work with industry-leading solutions including Connectivity, FTTB, 5G Airbox, Mobile, and ICT services. Key Responsibilities As a Sales Executive, you will manage the full SME sales cycle within your assigned territory, from prospecting through to customer acquisition and retention. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new SME business opportunities through proactive field prospecting and networking activities.
- Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions across Emtel's SME portfolio.
- Present, negotiate, and close sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer value.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximise customer lifetime value.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Deliver a seamless customer experience from onboarding through to after-sales support.
- Address customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates within CRM systems.
- Foster long-term customer relationships to support retention and business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Represent Emtel at promotional campaigns, SME activations, networking events, and trade exhibitions.
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to support the continuous improvement of our SME sales strategy.
- Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualification.
- At least two (2) years of experience in sales, business development, and/or customer service.
- Experience in face-to-face sales and customer engagement will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- Results-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proficient in CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
