Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining production equipment in good working condition.
• Support maintenance activities on Sugar cube presses, Drying and handling systems, Packing lines (cubes, sticks, stand-up packs).
• Help reduce equipment downtime through timely intervention.
• Assist technicians during equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Support quick recovery of machines during breakdowns.
• Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance schedules.
• Help ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time.
• Clean and lubricate equipment as instructed.
• Prepare tools, materials, and spare parts for maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop and maintenance areas.
• Support installation and replacement of machine components.
• Assist in checking and organising spare parts inventory.
• Report low stock levels or missing components to supervisors.
• Help ensure availability of required maintenance materials.
• Work closely with production teams during maintenance interventions.
• Assist in minimising disruption to production activities.
• Support operational teams when technical assistance is required.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support compliance with health, safety, and food-grade standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures when instructed.
• Carry out any other maintenance-related duties assigned by supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
