Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef in charge and the team to indulge in the preparation and baking of various types of cakes and pastries
- Ability to work independently, following guidelines received from the Chef to produce quality outputs based on recipes and product specifications.
- Ensure hygiene standards are always met
- Maintaining cleanliness of your work space at all time; daily ‘’Clean As you go’’ practice to be strictly adhered to.
- Strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
- Collaborative approach to achieve departmental goals and meet deadlines.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ or more experience in pastry, preferably in a catering or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of Pastry techniques and food safety standards,
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays, as operational needs may require.
