Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee electrical installations and maintenance works for building, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, circuit protection, and system studies.
• Supervise technicians and electricians during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all works comply with BS Standard, IEE regulations, and relevant health & safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in electrical systems.
• Coordinate with  Sub-contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation for projects and maintenance tasks.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Mauritius.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical design, project management, or site supervision.
• Experience in M&E projects, construction, or industrial installations ( Wastewater or Water Treatment Plant, Pumping Station, PLC/SCADA) will be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, electrical design software, and MS Office tools.
