L’Aventure du Sucre is recruiting!!

We are looking to recruit a passionate and energetic Cashier to work in our Village Boutique. The incumbent will provide excellent customer service while efficiently and accurately handling financial transactions. This includes processing sales, managing cash and credit transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the checkout area.

• Efficiently operating cash registers, ensuring quick and accurate transactions while maintaining till balance.
• Ensuring the accuracy of till balances and providing reports as needed.
• Proactively preventing theft through keen attention and observation.
• Answering phone calls and providing helpful assistance to customer inquiries.
• Promoting the shop's offerings by actively cross-selling, such as guiding customers to our restaurant.
• Restocking and replenishing items, maintaining cleanliness at tasting stations, and ensuring products (e.g., vanilla paste) are replaced when needed.
• Handling urgent tasks such as retrieving specific items or processing product exchanges for customers.

• Minimum HSC with 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Strong numerical and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Open to constructive criticism and customer feedback
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication both in French and English
