The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the store operations/ inventory accuracy/ timely delivery of orders and controls.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Assist in day to day activities for the Supply Chain Reception department.
- Assist with supervision of daily operations orders, deliveries, returns, inventory control, vehicle schedules, GPS tracking, customer service etc.
- Plan, organise, assign and ensure completion of operational tasks and functions.
- Supervise a team in accordance with policies.
- Manage schedules of personnel on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with established safety standards and housekeeping practices.
- Assist with the implementation of change management.
- Monitor and enforce correct usage, care and preservation of the department assets in daily operations.
PROFILE:
- Higher School Certificate.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a warehousing or logistics environment.
- Ability to work on a shift system.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with basic computer software.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
