Job Description
- Supervise Distribution Field Officer and manage Distribution crew (D/S & Sales Attendants)
- Record attendance, manage leave, handle grievances, and escalate issues as needed
- Address absenteeism, lateness, injuries with HR; arrange late transport
- Support recruitment, induction, and assessment of new crew members
- Monitor Taxi contractors’ compliance (procedures, grooming, conduct)
- Plan and prepare delivery loads based on orders, routes, timelines, and resources
- Dispatch orders on correct delivery days; group orders to avoid multiple deliveries
- Allocate trips fairly across D/S, PBL, Taxi fleet, and balance truck usage
- Plan full-truck deliveries for key customers; ensure cubage limits are respected
- Finalise and upload loads (Basis & B-Mobile) within required timelines
- Prepare delivery lists and supporting documents
- Manage late/additional orders and empty crate deliveries
- Plan and follow up on collection of empties, damaged goods, and crates on loan
- Track undelivered orders, reprocess when required, and report data corrections
- Ensure timely trip starts and resolve resource or equipment issues
- Monitor trips, delivery sequence, and truck turnaround times
- Liaise with Distribution, Sales, Tel-Sell, and Communications teams on delivery issues
- Inform customers of delays to maximize OTIF performance
- Report incidents and complaints to CRU/HR
- Ensure timely remittance of delivery documents and cash handling compliance
- Coordinate with Settlement team on cash discrepancies and product variance
