Job Description

  •  To ensure that all stores are kept in order and clean at all times.
  •  To check on daily basis the minimum stock levels and prepares the proper purchase request for the related Department Heads to purchase on time to avoid the shortages.
  •  To ensure that all the items kept in the stores are ready and in a good shape to consume, none of them has an expired date of usage or spoiled.   To inform the Cost Controller on time regarding the spoiled or expired store items.
  • To ensure that all store items are carrying updated bin-cards or meat-tags at all times.
  • To participate with the accounting team to do the physical inventories of the stores every end of the month.
  •   To work very closely with other Supervisor or Department Heads related to his/ her job such as Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Purchasing Manager.
  •  Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with hotel colleagues.
  •  Makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.
  •  Performs any additional duties as directed by supervisors.
  • Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
  •  Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform and body language.
  •  Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
  •  Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.
