JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Convert specifications and requirements into functional application code and work with frontend designers to create functional web pages and applications;

• Prioritize, assign, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle;

• Design solutions for complex projects;

• Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment;

• Provide full life cycle development with Node.js/ReactJS technology stack;

• Understand industry-coding standards and write well-designed, efficient code;

• Break down projects into tasks with time estimation and track work in progress;

• Review, test and debug team members’ code;

• Design and implement database architecture;

• Document development phases and changes;

• Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date;

• Proactively identify and communicate risks and issues;

• Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions;

• Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;

• 1+ years’ experience in coding enterprise software systems;

• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns;

• Good knowledge of Agile-Scrum methodologies;

• Experience in the use of Git SCM tools;

• Experience in Containerized environments (Like Docker);

• Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL;

• Solid open-source SDLC (develop, debug, test, package, publish, deploy) experience;

• Ability to efficiently manage and build large, complex web applications;

• Experience building single-page and progressive web applications;

• Experience in ReactJS, Node.js (Hapi.js, Express.js)

• Experience is exposing and consuming REST webservices;
