Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experience in accordance with hotel standards.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and accurate record keeping.
- Perform Night Audit duties when required.
- Ensure all registration cards and check-in documentation are completed accurately.
- Process pre-authorizations and payment transactions in line with hotel procedures.
- Verify, sort, and file guest bills and supporting documentation from hotel outlets.
- Ensure departure bills are prepared accurately and billing instructions are followed.
- Clear and archive guest documentation upon departure.
- Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with established standards.
- Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to guests.
- Ensure all special requests and guest preferences are actioned and followed up accordingly.
- Assist guests with foreign exchange transactions while adhering to hotel policies and local regulations.
- Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Reservations, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and contribute to the smooth operation of the Front Office.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Candidate Profile
- SC/HSC or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Front Office, Reception, or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Good knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), preferably Opera.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude.
- Well-groomed, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Courteous, tactful, and able to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duties when required.
