Job Description

1Assist HR/S&LM in conducting selection of S&L personnel
2Assist superior to conduct Performance Appraisal and identify necessary training measures of respective team members
3Make recommendations to Superior on team members’ matters and promotions
4Ensure that discipline prevails within the team and communicates any disciplinary issues to Superior / HR Manager
5Conduct on the job training on a regular basis
6Follow up induction of new recruits
7Keep Superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
8Play an active role in the team and ensure smooth and satisfactory hand-over between shifts
9Assist in the building of an efficient team by taking interest in their welfare, safety and development
10Coordinate & supervise activities to ensure optimum care and assistance to guests
11Establish and maintain effective employee relations
12Ensure high level of quality services are delivered to guests at all times
13Ensure that the L&S team projects a warm, professional and welcome image and a high level of quality services
14Adapt the entertainment activities as per category of guest
 Assist Superior to:
15Handle and monitor guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required
16Interact regularly with guest to obtain feedbacks for improvement
17Prepare and ensure that duty roster for the department is done such that there is complete coverage at all times and to minimize overtime costs
18Follow up on punctuality, controls absenteeism and takes corrective actions where necessary
19Ensure that there is a proper planning and control of annual leaves for the department
20Promote and attempt upsellings
21Make inventory of materials and equipment for stock control
22Report any breakages, defects, loss of operating equipments and accessories to Sports and Leisure Manager
23Manage his / her Business Unit as independent profit centre
24Follow up on billing
25Set the annual operating budget and ensures that it is strictly adhered to and managed on a monthly basis
26Establish cost management plan
27Manage roster
28Ensure respective TMs are operating as per Quality Management System
29Ensure respective TMs are operating as per S&H regulations and policies
30Conduct Operational comunication meeting (one to one) with his / her TM
31Coordinate all duties conducted by the Leisure & Sport team
32Responsible for “mise en place” of activities as per programme
33Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
34Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
