Job description:
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on fire extinguishers according to regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions or defects in fire extinguishers and related equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components or systems of fire extinguishers and ensure they are in proper working order.
- Provide training to clients or employees on proper use of fire extinguishers and fire safety measures.
- Document all inspections, repairs, and installations in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations and perform fire extinguisher maintenance or repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
- NC3
- Knowledge of fire extinguisher types and uses
- Ability to inspect and maintain fire extinguishers
- Familiarity with fire safety codes and regulations
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
- Willingness to work in potentially hazardous environments
- Certification or training in fire extinguisher maintenance and safety
