Efficiently implements all SOP(s) and ascertains their professional execution by ensuring that work performed complies with all applicable codes, safety, sanitation rules and regulations.
Conducts frequent quality spot-checks, within the Maintenance Department, with regard to procedures, equipment, facilities and systems.
Conducts walk through to visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical aspects of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, all mechanical, electrical and any other related equipment.
Oversees assignments and verifies completion of all preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of house spaces and grounds.
Observes Health and Safety rules and regulations and ensures that all work is done in accordance with jurisdictional codes, as well as manufacturer’s recommendations.

Co-ordinates all renovation, expansion and special projects.
Establishes timeframes and work schedules and follows-up to ensure that work is completed in order of urgency or priority.
Develops, implements and maintains preventive maintenance and energy conservation programs for guest rooms, public areas, back of house, mechanical equipment, building systems according to corporate and hotel standards.
