Job Description


ABC Real Estate is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join its Finance Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve bank-related issues, including anomalies and cheque differences.
  • Prepare and reconcile control accounts.
  • Monitor group credit sales transactions.
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany accounts.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Support cash flow monitoring and data input.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACCA Qualified or at least ACCA Level 2 or Level 3 completed.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet month-end and reporting deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
