Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Payroll & Administrative Officer will process and verify payroll transactions, in compliance with relevant legislatives and employment conditions framework.
  • Ensuring that employee pay is calculated and paid out accurately.
  • Dealing with payroll queries from employees.
  • Processing data entries after verifying input documents received.
  • Assist Management in the preparation of yearly & ad hoc project budgets.
  • Assist management in day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Provide accounting and administrative support to other departments and assist in any ad hoc projects assigned.
  • Deputise for other payroll & admin officers during their absence.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of employee`s information.
  • Responsible for the receipt and delivery of materials such as fertilizers from company store.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a proper inventory record and prepare reports on stock movement and usage.  
  • Assist in the monthly & yearly inventory & stock count process.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date records & filing systems.

 

Profile & Experience:

  • HSC/Diploma holder in business management.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in Sicorax Payroll will be an advantage.
  • Attention to details & quality focused oriented.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00 & Saturday 07:00 - 12:00 (During crop season from July to December)

 

Salary Range – Negotiable upon qualification & experience.
