Assistant Cook

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cook and season food according to recipes.
• Cook in bulk without generating waste.
• Ensure all food is prepared fresh and is of the highest quality.
• Strictly adhere to all recipes, methods and instructions from supervisor.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
• Ensure that the equipments are always in the right condition and report to supervisor for any issue.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.

 Candidate’s Profile:

• Possess a relevant Vocational Certificate in Culinary Arts.
• At least 2 years’ cooking experience in any food service establishment
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work under high-pressure environment
• Be flexible to work on a shift system
