Job Description

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1Take part in training and implement accordingly
2Keep superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
3Ensure product knowledge of items at the boutique
4Describe product features and details accurately
5Recommand and display items that match customer’s needs
6Adapt display as per day theme/festivity
7Ensure high level of quality services are delivered to guests at all times
8Handle and monitor of guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required
9Interact with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement
10Establish and maintain continuous and fruitful contacts with customers
11Answer any query from guests by having a sound knowledge of all items offered for sale
12Maintain outstanding store condition on visual merchandising standards
13Help and anticipate guests in their choices
14Recommend, give advise and guidance on product selection to guests
15Participate in Eco Standard/Sustainable Responsibility set by the hotel
16Ensure sales target are met, provide optimum customer service and assist to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization 
17Promote upselling
18Make inventory of equipment and material for stock control
19Report any breakage, defect, loss of operating equipments and accessories to Superior
20Follow up billing
21Ensure energy saving (electricity, water)
22Follow the set procedures for opening and closing the boutique
23Ensure that the boutique is always clean and tidy
24Display boutique’s window and arrange items creatively as per standards
25Prepare a receipt for guests when a sale is closed and record the sale (cash or credit)
26Prepare cash and credit summary, balance the account and submit all cash, receipts and credit summary to receptionist on a daily basis
27Ensure that all sale figures are input on the system
28Ensure sufficient stock of items at all times
29Make requisitions of items when minimum stock is reached
30Properly store the items to avoid any wastage
31Liaise with Superior at Head Office for all orders or any matter arising
32Assist guests in a friendly and engaging manner
33Manage point of sale processes
34Ensure all items have appropriate price tag
35Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
36Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
