Senior Auditor

We are seeking a confident, detail-driven auditing professional to join our team in Plaines Wilhems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, strengthening internal controls, and helping clients and stakeholders make informed decisions through clear, reliable financial insight.

In this position, you will lead and support audit assignments from planning through completion, working across financial, operational, and compliance areas. You will review records, identify risks, test controls, and prepare well-structured findings that support accurate reporting and practical recommendations. You will also collaborate with colleagues and clients to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining strong professional standards.

We are looking for someone who brings sound judgment, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, guiding junior team members where needed, and communicating audit results in a clear and professional manner. A strong understanding of accounting principles, audit methodology, and regulatory expectations will help you succeed in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing audit procedures in line with engagement requirements
• Evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement
• Preparing accurate working papers, reports, and supporting documentation
• Reviewing financial statements and highlighting exceptions or risks
• Working with clients and internal teams to close audit findings
• Contributing to a culture of quality, integrity, and continuous improvement
