Mechanical & Planning Supervisor

The Mechanical and Planning Supervisor will oversee and manage the planning, supervision, and execution of equipment maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and inspections.  Inventory of spare parts must be properly managed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organise the daily work of mechanics, ensuring that all corrective tasks are completed within the set deadlines.
• Follow-up on equipment and plan the replacement of spare parts.
• Create, standardise, implement and follow-up of preventive maintenance plan.
• Maintain and monitor a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and spare parts, thus ensuring that the safety stock for each part is maintained.
• Keep track of maintenance history of the plant's equipment.
• Promote environmental consciousness and monitor environmental issues.
• Promote Safety and Health in accordance with Safety and Health policy in place.
