Job Description

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Curative Maintenance:

  • Perform regular basic maintenance of equipment used in the depot.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation faults as they arise on all sites.
  • Repair or replace defective plug-and-play components, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations team members to minimize equipment downtime and optimize functionality.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Carry out standardized checklists and protocols for preventive maintenance, documenting each task performed and reporting any anomaly or concern observed during inspections to trigger corrective actions.
  • Execute the preventive maintenance schedule within his assignment for all critical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough inspections on equipment as and when required to identify wear and tear, corrosion, or potential faults. Address any issues before they escalate, ensuring the reliability and longevity of equipment.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records on CMMS of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment condition assessments.
  • Ensure that a signed intervention sheet is obtained from the job contractor.
  • Perform quality control checks before acceptance of maintenance work done.
  • Generate reports outlining maintenance schedules, completed tasks, and any identified safety hazards or concerns.
  • Update CMMS with spare parts movements and recording of manhours.

Others

  • Assist the maintenance engineers in the elaboration of the budget envelope and scheduling of work.
  • Assist in the update and upkeeping of the database of drawings, diagrams and equipment movements.
  • Assist the procurement department in the evaluation of service providers based on the quality of the works provided.
Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
  • 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, specifically within a petroleum depot or a similar industry.
  • Ability to anticipate problems that may arise (machine breakdown, serious accident)
  • Compulsory Trainings: - Work Site Safety, HCL1, LPG (storage and filling plant), Compulsory training by expert/professionals for all High Risk Operations: Habilitation electrique, work at height, work in confine space, scaffolding, MX/Daisy training
  • Good interpersonal skills, sensitivity to customers and ability to listen, adaptability.
