Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Port Louis as a Trust Accountant, where your expertise will contribute significantly to our clients’ financial well-being. In this full-time role, you will leverage your Bachelor’s degree or Licence Bac +3 to manage and oversee trust accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service.

As a Trust Accountant, you will

  • Maintain accounting records for a portfolio of corporate entities and trusts.
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including posting journals, invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Complete all day-to-day matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Effect statutory filings with MRA, FSC, ROC and other statutory bodies.
  • Ensure high quality service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
